I attended your one-day seminar in Columbus, OH., on Thursday,

August 24, 2006.


As I told you after the seminar:  "I have been a practicing attorney in the

general practice of law in a very small town for 32 years, and I have

been to many educational seminars. However, the one you gave was the

best seminar I have attended in those 32 years." From your statements,

and from those you elicited from the seminar participants, I walked

away with many ideas on how to improve the financial status of my 2-

man law firm, while being fair to clients in the matter of fees at the same

time.


My primarily goal was to be able to generate sufficient additional funds

to enable me to better compensate the three lovely ladies who loyally

and efficiently serve as my office staff. I am confident that the things I

learned from your seminar will enable me to do just that, beginning with

the month of September 2006.

 

I have already significantly revised our fee program and have developed

numerous written employment contracts for clients that include varieties

of fixed-fee arrangements and of hourly-rate arrangements. It is exciting

to realize that we can actually collect a fair fee from clients [up front]

and still have satisfied clients.  The idea you shared of seeing from the

client's point of view what the service is worth was a real "eye-opener",

and it made me realize that a client will often be willing to pay very well

to get what they want, because what they want is worth the cost of

attaining it.


I, also, liked the idea of an "expedited fee" for the situations where we

place the needs of a client "on the front line" to meet their time

schedule. I used this on Friday. I got paid $50.00 extra, and I walked

away with a client who was not only glad to pay that extra $50  but my

regular fee as well, all for the satisfaction of having his needs met

promptly.

I would recommend your seminar to anyone who is concerned about

providing quality service to clients for a fair price, BUT who want to

ensure that the finances of their business do not suffer in the process

..... After all, if the money is not there, you can't pay those people who

constitute your office family, and they are mighty important people,

indeed!!
